Plan

Once we decide on a date, the retainer is paid and contract signed, we plan. Your session might be booked months or weeks in advance, during which time Terri is available to answer any questions. Horse prep is always the most common question. Since most equine sessions are different, Terri will discuss what needs to be done. Also will cover what type of images needed: conformation, black background, action and so on. Use this page to learn more about prepping for: Black Background images.

Session

It’s all about your horse! You have envisioned this, so please make sure you let Terri know any ideas you have. Yes, Terri will have plenty if you do not. Terri will pose your horse for the best angles, including breed standards and a few artistic looks. If the horse will be ridden or do liberty, those will be done last. She has an efficient workflow to get the most variety in a short time. The order of events will be discussed in the planning stage, but if we need to amend the day of, we can.

After

Terri starts working on your images as soon as she can. Be on the lookout for a sneak peek on social media. Terri’s editing style is more natural and realistic, but occasionally an image speaks to her and she needs to turn it into something dramatic. Depending on the season, she can be fast to turn around images quickly. Most collections are digitally based, but if you are wanting wall art or albums, she is happy to help with those.
